I have used the product a few times, and I must say that I am much more confident than before. The weight factor was also important for me, as I use it for a bike, and I am very satisfied.
I placed the order from Canada, and shipping from the United States was no problem. I didn't have to pay any taxes upon delivery (UPS).
This Seaty Lock has saved my daughter’s bike from being stolen at least twice on her college campus. It has cut marks in the plastic coating but the lock itself is holding strong and doing a great job of keeping her bike safe. We have also had 2 cable locks cut that were used in addition to the Seaty Lock, but the bike is still secure. I recommend this lock to anyone that needs a high security lock for their bike.
Purchased 12/30/2023 delivered 1/3/2024 . Build is pretty solid and durable . With a diamond protection rating it Looks and feels like it would hold up against anything (except an angle grinder of course) and weight is less than 5 pounds making it lighter than my kryptonite lock but better protection , now fast foward it Was an excellent U lock up until about 6/2024 where the lock mechanism would get stuck upon trying to unlock . 8/14/2024 i left a review stating that it was getting stuck , that following evening someone from SeatyLock reached out to me via Email regarding the stuck lock . I gave the rep some info and to my suprise they sent me out a brand new U lock at no cost ! I recevied it within 4 days ! Outstanding . This company really stands by there 3 year warranty . I highly reccomend this company and brand as its Excellently priced , Great reliable protection , wonderful Customer service and a Awesome warranty !
I have used multiple Kryptonite D locks over the years and they are clunky. Got this and it's lighter, rubber covered so it doesn't rub on bike frame as much and the fact that the lock block doesn't fall off all time is very refreshing. Can't wait until the even lighter version is coming out!
