I have been using a u-lock for years, but I'm very pleased with the foldylock. It is durable, easy to open and close, and can easily fit in a bag, a pocket, or clipped onto my pannier. I would buy again.

This is my second lock as the other one a foldylock is on my fold-up bike. This one is for a new electric mountain bike and the standard foldylock case wouldn't fit. But guess what if you have the clipster lock it clips onto the bottle rack nicely as well as fitting into bags, pockets and the like. The red of the plastic is a bit of a pink red but it works and is easy to use with a locking mechanism that you know is secure just by the feel of it. If you are not sure which one to choose I can recommend the clipster.

It is easy to carry and lock. It saved my bike in Berlin this summer. I am very happy to own it.
THE LOCK LOOKS GREAT, IT'S VERY EASY TO CARRY AROUND AND GIVES YOU THAT SENSE OF "MY BIKE IS SAFE" WHICH MANY OTHERS DON'T.
IT COULD BE AN "EXTRA PIECE" LONGER (THAT'S BECAUSE 4 STARS AND NOT FIVE) IN ORDER TO BETTER FIT MOUNTAIN BIKES AS WELL, BUT I FINALLY FOUND A WAY TO SECURE MY BIKE "ON THE GO" WHILE RIDING AROUND THE CITY

I've had this lock for about a month so far, and it's great! Easy to carry around, and lets me lock to more different things than a mini u-lock would. The only two things that have bugged me so far are that the keys are rather bulky (they have a big plastic thing on the end), and I've already lost rubber band to keep the slats together when it's folded (though that's more my fault than the lock's). The lock has a plastic clip on the cylinder that keeps the slats from falling out, so the rubber band isn't strictly necessary. All in all, a good lock!
